  • Ty the Portrait Guy earns that moniker. The Guy really knows his stuff and a photo shoot with him was not only a thrilling and rewarding experience after the fact, when I’m scrolling through 80 some photos, edited with extreme care, trying desperately to find the right ones to post to social media (when all are so well composed), but his knowledge of the craft bled through the work, teaching me a great deal about how I can pose and feel my truest self for the next photoshoot I’m sure to book Tyrus for. He’s patient, direct, and efficient, everything you could want from a photographer. I didn’t feel like I was waiting at all before the photos got right back to me after the shoot, and I was floored by the quality of it all. If you want to look your best self on camera, you can’t possibly go wrong getting photographed by Ty the Portrait Guy. Could not recommend enough.

He worked with me before the shoot to determine what I was looking for and even asked to review some of my work so he could better understand what I was hoping to get across with the work as a whole. I usually feel awkward in front of a camera, but Mr. Xanthos knew how make the experience comfortable and also really fun. The photos themselves were absolutely stunning. Thank you Tyrus!!
